Decision-support and benefit-cost tools

Overview

A study ends with a paper, but a decision needs something more usable. This strand of work turns preference estimates and economic evidence into interactive tools that non-specialists can use to explore options.

Approach

Each tool is transparent about which figures are estimates and which are assumptions, and is designed to be usable by the person who needs it, not only by its author.

Tools

  • eMANDEVAL Future for vaccine-mandate policy.
  • SOIL CRC Benefit-Cost Analysis Tool for agricultural trials.
  • STEPS FETP Scale-up Decision Aid for field-epidemiology training.
