MandEval
The problem
Australia introduced a range of COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Understanding whether they worked, what they cost, and how the public viewed them requires both careful evaluation and evidence on preferences. MandEval brings these together.
Research questions
How effective were Australia's COVID-19 vaccine mandates, what were their wider consequences, and what mandate designs does the public support?

Dr Mesfin Genie is an investigator on the programme, working with Professor Francesco Paolucci and collaborators across institutions.
Methods and data
The programme combines discrete choice experiments on mandate designs with structured synthesis of quasi-experimental evidence on mandate effects.
